Laura and I had the opportunity to vacation in Virginia and Washington D.C. from mid to late September. We started off the trip staying in
Williamsburg, Virgina. We both love history, and staying in the famous "historic
triangle" of Jamestown,
Williamsburg, and Yorktown was a fabulous way to start our trip. These three towns are full of Revolutionary and Civil War history. We even got to witness the discovery of early U.S. History at Jamestown as we watched an
archaeological dig at Jamestown, the first English colony to land in America in 1607.
From there, we ventured off to Washington D.C. to tour the many sites our Nation's Capitol has to offer. We did everything from a tour of the White House to admiring the beautiful
architecture of the National Cathedral. We had a great time, and wanted to share a few pictures with you, our friends.
